If you can’t handle the dairy in a “real” Fudgsicle or want a healthier option, this dairy-free fudgsicle is made from Almond Milk and one extra ingredient. It’s so easy to make and it tastes just like the old fashioned version! It’s a summer must-have!
I get sick from coconut milk so I needed to make this with something other than milk or coconut milk. The first version was… meh. It was ok. But it could have been better.
Then Hubby threw down the gauntlet. “I bet you can’t make it taste like a real Fudgsicle.”
Challenge. Accepted.
I used Chocolate Almond Milk and mixed it with raw cacao powder. The almond milk itself tasted fine, but the cacao powder gives it just the ooomph that it needs to be a perfect dairy-free replacement. I gave it a quick mix in the Nutri Ninja but you can also whisk it together. I like these popsicle molds with the drip guards.

I’m definitely hanging onto this recipe – my husband is lactose intolerant (and loves almond milk) and I always feel bad that he gets “left out” of a lot of frozen treats, especially in the summer. Thanks for linking up with Merry Monday last week!
Hi Emily – I’m finally learning to accept the non-dairy healthy alternatives and my entire family is on board with this one. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Holly

Thank you so much for sharing this dairy free fudgesicle recipe. It sounds amazing. I use vanilla almond milk in my smoothies. I have never tried the chocolate, but I am looking forward to trying it now. I pinned it and cannot wait to try it. I am going to share this with my niece whose son is also lactose intolerant. Where did you buy your popsicle molds at?
