When I hosted the Mystery Symptom Summit, I learned so much about EMF exposure and how to reduce your EMF risk. Talk about mystery symptoms! EMF can cause some of the best. While it’s difficult to pinpoint the source, there are numerous anecdotal studies of health conditions improving when the exposure is eliminated or reduced. With the arrival of the 5G network, it will dramatically increase our exposure to these radioactive frequencies, and the long-term dangers are completely unknown.
For the summit, I interviewed one of the world’s top experts on EMF and electrosmog, Nicolas Pineault, who is the author of the #1 Amazon bestseller, The Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMFs: How to Fix Our Stupid Use of Technology. I was really scared about going into the interview. I thought that our only hope was to live on either the moon or in a bubble.
Minutes into the interview, I was floored at how easy it is to reduce our risk. I mean, we can never get away from electrosmog. It’s all around us. But Nicolas shared some really simple ways that are free or super cheap.
Once our interview was over, I immediately started implementing what Nicolas suggested. These are my three favorite ways to help reduce your EMF exposure. Reduce Your EMF Risk
Tip #1 – Turn it Off
EMF exposure can greatly harm your sleep patterns, especially if you sleep with your phone beside your bed. Turn your phone onto airplane mode while you sleep, or keep it in another room.
If you do need to keep your phone on at night for emergency reasons, keep your landline on (if you have one), keep your phone in another room or right outside of your bedroom, or keep one phone on airplane mode on your nightstand, and your partner’s phone turned on but outside of the bedroom.
We used to live in a world where we didn’t have our phones attached to us 24/7. Think of times during your day when you don’t need to have your phone turned on and keep it on airplane mode during those times.
The other thing you can do is put your wi-fi router on a timer, and turn off the wi-fi at night while you sleep.
Tip #2 – Location
During normal daylight hours, keep your phone at least two feet away from you. Ten feet is even better.
If you are female, carry your phone in your purse and NEVER in your bra. Do you really want all of that radiation up against the girls? And guys – no pockets. We don’t want your giggle-berries to be fried.
Tip #3 – Go Old School
Does your laptop run on wifi? Why? Pick up an ethernet cable and attach it to your router. Don’t forget to keep your laptop on airplane mode while it’s attached to the ethernet cord. And yes, you got me. A short ethernet cord will run you closer to $5.00 than $3.00. But it didn’t flow as well with the title. I was trying to be creative – give me a pass this one time, ok?
Speaking of routers, keep your router in a space where it’s not in close proximity to you.
