Sometimes a tablescape muse is a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine, or a new place setting. Today’s tablescape muse was all three! Come join me for some summer time flip flops and butterflies…

This tablescape is so pink and cheery and filled with summer I can hardly contain myself! The tablecloth is actually a beach towel which I purchased during the infamous “Running of the Lillies” at Target awhile back.

I’ve had these adorable little melamine flip flop plates forever. I can’t remember where I found them, but I have to bring them out every summer for appetizers or some tapas.

The rattan chargers and white melamine plates came from Target, and the plates on top were another find from the Running of the Lilly frenzy at Target. Everyone went straight to the clothes – I ran to the back of the store to find plates. Yup. I’m a plate hoarder, what can I say?!?

This beautiful bouquet was from Hubby. I always love a surprise bouquet of flowers for no reason!

Even though I drink very little these days, I love finding fun wines to serve with company. The butterfly wine and the flip flop wines are perfect for a summer lunch!

… because summer is all about wearing flip flops and enjoying the butterflies. Don’t you agree?

Holly, you have outdone yourself! I love all of the bright colors on this table. I think we are much alike in the fact that we love to pick up fun dishes when we see them. I always know they will be used at some time. I will have to be on the lookout for the wines also – too fun
