Traffic Secrets
When I started Pink Fortitude, I knew that I had an amazing service of inspirational content to offer women who suffer from chronic illness and want to live healthier lifestyles. But how do I find my ideal audience and drive that traffic to my website? The biggest problem that most entrepreneurs (like me) face is getting customers to discover them. You can have the best product or service out there, but how can you be successful if you can’t drive traffic to create sales? It’s part art and part science.
Russell Brunson has the answers. I’ve been a fan of his for a long time. He is hands down one of my favorite entrepreneurs to follow. Whether you are just getting started, or an experienced blogger like me, his knowledge is solid. And his energy is contagious.
In Russell Brunson’s new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, he starts at the beginning and breaks it down into easy to follow steps from finding your ideal audience to navigating social media, and identifying trends and opportunities. As a blogger who is in this for the long-haul, I’m particularly fond of his evergreen traffic strategies to help drive the ideal customers to my blog.
Right now my primary focus is finding new customers and driving traffic to my website and blog. Do you face the same challenges? Where are they hiding? I know they are out there!
Where Are They Hiding?
I know that Pink Fortitude is AH-MAZING.
I know that I provide a unique voice for women age 35-55 who have a chronic illness such as cancer or an autoimmune disease.
I know that I put my heart and soul into providing both inspirational content and well-researched articles.
I know that when you (my ideal audience) stumbles upon Pink Fortitude, the content you read is like snuggling up in your favorite comfy chair and drinking a cup of coffee with your best friend.
To niche down even further, I know that my advocacy for providing disability education for autoimmune disease in the workplace is something no one else is talking about.
But there’s one problem.
Where are you hiding? You… my ideal customer? It’s one of my biggest struggles. And I’m sure it’s one of yours too.

30-Day Challenge
I’ve been participating in the Traffic Secret’s 30-day challenge to learn key strategies that will increase traffic to my blog. The following exercise was copied with permission from Traffic Secrets. Here’s how to find where your ideal customers are hiding.
The Exercise
Here are some questions you should be asking yourself:
- What are the top websites that my dream customers already go to?
- What forums or message boards do they participate in?
- What are the Facebook groups they engage in?
- Who are the influencers they follow on Facebook and Instagram?
- What podcasts do they listen to?
- What are the email newsletters they are subscribed to?
- What blogs do they read?
- What channels are they following on YouTube?
- What keywords are they searching for in Google to find information?
This is how you create your “Dream 100” list and this is where you begin to find those loyal fans and customers. I’ve learned that once you have this foundation, everything else falls into place.
Now it’s your turn! You’ve got this! Be sure to check out Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers!
