This simple Thanksgiving table is full of autumn colors. Are you like most people and often feel like you have to go to the extreme, especially in the age of Pinterest? This tablescape is beautiful, and full of warmth and love of family. Does anything else matter? Ok… maybe pumpkin pie!
Thanksgiving has always been a huge tradition in my family. We’ve had Thanksgivings with the house full of 30-40 people, we’ve had Thanksgivings at the soup kitchen feeding the homeless, we’ve had Thanksgivings at restaurants, and pretty much everything in between. As I’m writing this post, we are in the middle of moving Hubby’s parents from upstate New York down to Virginia to live closer to us.
MIL Bertone loves to cook, and we love to celebrate Thanksgiving up in the mountains with Hubby’s family. The last few years, my parents have been able to join us. There is nothing more special than having the entire family together.
This was our tablescape at last year’s Thanksgiving, and the last year we enjoyed Thanksgiving on Bertone mountain. Simple, elegant, full of autumn colors, and some fun extras.
I love how the crystal radiates the fall colors.
This year, we will be enjoying a more non-traditional Thanksgiving, but we will all be together as a family. And that is the only thing that matters.
