Make Your Commitment.
Steven Covey is known for saying, “begin with the end in mind.” What are you committed to? It’s not about what you want to achieve, but why. Without the foundation in place, it is difficult to stay focused on your goals.
You are your #1 doctor.
Our doctors are well-meaning and genuinely want to help people, but often times they are confined by constraints from the insurance companies including time spent with you for each visit, what labs they can order, and what they can prescribe. Do your research. Listen to your body. Work WITH your doctor to achieve your optimal health. No one is going to care more for your health than yourself.
Find your blessings.
In your darkest hours, practice gratitude and look for your blessings. Life happens just the way it is supposed to, for better or worse. It’s not about what happens to you, it’s how you react to it.
