Awhile back, I inherited my Grandmother’s crystal punch bowl. It was so… fancy. I used it for decorations, like filling it with a bunch of Christmas ornaments and using it as the table centerpiece.

But it wasn’t until Mamma Fortitude passed that I decided to actually learn to make her old-timey punch recipe. Shocking, I know.

Punch in a punch bowl. It’s so… expected.

Mom used the traditional punch recipe that’s been around for a million years. I wanted to lighten it up a bit, and also make it dairy free. This Sparkling Cranberry Punch has less sugar by using sparkling water instead of Ginger Ale and also uses dairy free sorbet or ice cream.

To keep it pink, make sure you use either the PINK or White Cranberry Juice instead of the traditional red cranberry juice.

Shhhh… don’t tell! No one will notice the changes!

You can top it with cranberries or pomegranates for garnish.

My childhood Preacher (who is now in his 90’s!) LOVES Mom’s old-timey punch recipe. It’s adorable. He’s never had my version, but betcha bottom dollar he would never notice the difference.
