I am on a serious mission to recreate all of my favorite foods with ingredients that are in my new health protocol. And nothing says summer like s’mores. But without gluten, dairy, and sugar… s’mores are off the list. Sad face. Soooo… I made my own version. These Smorezel Tarts are gluten free and vegan and super delish. Happy face!
We all know and love s’mores- graham crackers, roasted marshmallows, and chocolate. I found some gluten free, dairy free and egg free graham crackers from Schar and vegan marshmallows from Dandies. And of course the vegan chocolate frosting.
Let me be perfectly clear. This dessert isn’t healthy. It’s a sweet treat alternative with ingredients that you can eat if you are gluten free, dairy free, and egg free. My family loves them!
Once a Pennsylvania girl, always a Pennsylvania girl… there is something so perfect about pretzels and chocolate together. So yep. Gluten-free pretzels it was. They compliment this s’more tart with the sweet and salty ying-yang.
The crust is easy to make and takes only a few minutes in the oven to heat up. And then it chills out in the refrigerator.

The other thing I love about this treat is that it’s rich and decadent so one or two bites will satiate your sweet tooth. I mean… you CAN eat the entire tart easy enough!
