Love S’mores? But ingredients like milk, gluten, and sugar aren’t in your nutrition protocol? These S’mores Muddy Buddies (or Puppy Chow) are gluten free, peanut free, low in sugar, and vegan-ish (depending on what kind of grahams you buy – with or without honey).
This was a bit challenging to make these S’mores Muddy Buddies to be allergy-friendly, but it wasn’t impossible.
If you want to make the mix as grab and go instead of Muddy Buddy style, just mix all of the dry ingredients together. Easy enough right! I used Schar Honey Graham cookies and then gently broke them up. If you want 100% vegan graham crackers, you can find Mary’s Vanilla Mini Graham Bites from Thrive Market.
I always use Enjoy Life chocolate chips, as they are certified gluten free, certified vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, and more!
Vegan marshmallows? Yes, they do exist! Dandies!!! They are vegan and the first NOn-GMO Project Verified marshmallow. Talk about a marshmallow innovator right?
You can either melt half of the chocolate in with the Sunbutter, or keep them as chips. Either way is super delish!
Store in an air-tight container for a few days, but they are too good they won’t last that long! If you do plan on keeping them beyond a day or too, eliminate the gluten free pretzels.
