A potting bench is a must-have for any serious gardener. We had ours forever, and when it was time to replace it, Hubby decided to make another one for me himself. You need to see the end result. Seriously swoon-worthy!
Before
We had our old potting bench forever. It was hearty, but over the course of time and being out in the elements, we needed to replace it. I loved this potting bench and was sad to see it go. Hubby promised he would make one for me that was just as nice and equally as sturdy.
During
Hubby loves to work with his hands. My grandfather was a master carpenter, and Dad studied and learned under his tutelage. Between the two of them, they couldn’t wait to get started. And the boys man-crush on each other. I’m extremely blessed to have Hubby and Daddy Bob be so close.
This was the framework. It was my turn to paint it. We ended up painting the frame with exterior wood paint and then using a stain on the table area.
