As much as I roll my eyes at the commercialism of Pottery Barn, there is something magical about walking into their store at Christmas. The lights, the colors, the displays… and the tablescapes! I don’t think there is another store on the planet who can tablescape better than Pottery Barn. Here are the highlights from 5 festive Pottery Barntastic tablescape displays.
I’m not sure if Pottery Barn names their tablescapes, but I came up with my own.
Festive Forest is hands down my favorite. I love the white snow, the woodland theme, and the red berries. And of course the lumberjack buffalo plaid plates. It might be a little difficult to converse with the folks on the other side of the table due to the height of the trees, but I guess that is where you sit Crazy Aunt Betty (and I know your family has one too!).
I might be a little prejudiced but I do like this tablescape. It has nothing to do with the name on the place setting, and everything to do with the red ticking stripe. Just sayin.
Plaid Tidings of Great Joy
My MIL had to pull me away from purchasing the plaid napkins and table runner. I couldn’t exercise restraint on my own. I mean… that never happened… I just enjoyed the gorgeous plaid and walked away. Yeah, that’s it! (…counting down the days until December 26th and praying they go on sale and aren’t sold out). #addictedtoplaid #plaidaddict #iknowyouaretoo
It’s not Christmas without poinsettias. They always remind me of Christmas eve church service and how beautiful the church looks with all of the poinsettias. I don’t think I would have ever thought to include them on a table, but hey… it works!
Naughty or Nice?
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a fun nod to Jolly Old Saint Nick. And red ticking stripes. And sleigh bells. Ho ho ho… who wouldn’t go?!?!?
