**EDITOR’S NOTE** I am extremely particular about the sponsored posts I accept. I turn down way more than I accept because I need to feel strongly about the product I’m representing and because my reputation is at stake. I know that your time is precious, and I am honored that you are a part of the Pink Fortitude family and that you have allowed me to be in this sacred space. I will never betray your confidence. Sponsored posts are a great source of income, but I promise to never put profit over integrity. That being said, this little jar of oil is by far one of the best products I’ve ever had a chance to write about. I’m excited to share this with you!

During and immediately after chemotherapy, I experienced painful and tingling neuropathy in my hands and feet. Years later, I still have neuropathy in my hands. I drop glasses and I can’t always grab onto items such as twisting off jar lids. It’s annoying, embarrassing, and frustrating.

What is Neuropathy?

Your central nervous system consists of your brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system is the nerves that transmit messages between the central nervous system and the rest of your body. Peripheral neuropathy, or neuropathy for short, occurs when there is damage to the peripheral nerves. It can happen for a variety of reasons. Diabetes is a common cause.

My Thoughts

My neuropathy was brought on from chemotherapy. It was more severe during chemo, but has lingered. Post-cancer I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an Autoimmune Disease. Subsequent side effects have included joint pain and fibromyalgia. Some days are better than others. Some days worse than others.

The bad days include spending many hours on the heating pad, agonizing over the pain, and not being able to sleep. I choose not to take traditional anti-inflammatory medicine, as it actually causes worse inflammation in my body. I’ve tried homeopathic remedies, but while they are great on headaches and minor pain, they don’t touch the level of pain I have on some days. I’ve tried yoga, and I’ve had massages and acupuncture. Basically, what I’m trying to say is that on the days I’m in pain… I’m in a lot of pain.

I was looking forward to trying Frankincense & Myrrh Neuropathy, but not without a level of skepticism. I put a few drops on the affected area and within SECONDS… SECONDS… I had relief. Let me be perfectly clear, this isn’t a miracle cure. But, when the level of pain goes from agony to tolerable within seconds… I’m hooked. It’s taken me from being flat out on the couch with the heating pad to the ability to move around and have a productive day. I even have my mom using it now.
