When my Auntie June passed of ALS a couple years ago, I inherited a few of her linens and glassware.  It was a very special inheritance, because I have such fond memories as a child eating dinner around her glass dining room table.  For a kid, a glass dining room table was the epitome of elegance!  Today’s tablescape is to honor her and her memories.  And to mix modern with MCM.

Anyone who has been a follower here for more than a minute knows that I have a little obsession for Kate Spade.  I picked up these plates at One Kings Lane, but they have a Kate Spade vibe to them.  The blue and white runner is from Auntie June.

The wine glasses are from Auntie June’s collection as well.  I love a crisp white and blue tablescape in January. It sets the season without being too overkill.
