Super cute and healthy Halloween food doesn’t have to be difficult to make. This Halloween tortilla appetizer looks like a pumpkin or Jack O’ Lantern. It’s gluten free, grain free, and you can have either a regular dairy or dairy free or vegan option. Make it for Halloween dinner or for your Halloween party. It’s fun food!
Whether you have food allergies, sensitivities or are hosting a Halloween party, this little Jack O’ Lantern is too stinkin cute. The fact that it’s a better option for those with certain food restrictions, all the better. Oh wait, did I mention it’s quick and easy to make too?
I’m not sure if he looks more like a pumpkin or Jack O’ Lantern. But he’s kinda cute. He does grow on me a bit. I used Daiya vegan cheese slices. But if you eat regular cheese, you can always cut up a slice or use shredded cheese too.
We like to say that Halloween in our neighborhood is like the G-rated version of Mardi Gras. The police close off the streets, half the parents are sitting out on their front lawns with the fire pits and treats for the kids and the other half of the parents are running around with the kids. There’s even a haunted house that the kids go through. What’s Halloween like where you live?
