Hubby built a new potting bench for me. I love it, but it needed a little sometin-sometin. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten out the Mod Podge, so I thought it was about time. We reused flower seed packets to create this super cute sign.

Grow Garden Sign Instructions

Plant the flowers in the seed packets. (best part of the DIY!)

Cut off the front part of the seed packet.

Turn the letters upside down and trace them with a pencil onto the seed packets. Depending on the size of your letters, you may need to use multiple packets.

With a pair of scissors, cut along the outline, erring a bit on the outside (you can always cut and trim, but it’s more difficult to add).

Cover the letter with a light coat of Mod Podge.

Place the seed packets onto the Mod Podge and cover again.

Wait until the Mod Podge dries.

With an Exacto knife and cutting mat, trim the edges.

Enjoy your new sign!

How cute is this? It will last much longer inside, but you will probably get one season out of it outdoors. Place it near your indoor herb garden, on a garden window, or on your potting bench.
