I saw these twig garden markers in a store and knew they would be super easy to create for our garden. Little did I know how easy! You gotta check out this DIY!
I saw these adorable twig garden markers advertised at one of my favorite stores. But at $27 for 6, I knew I could make them myself. For free. Twigs and a sharpie. I was planning on asking Stepson to whittle some down, but the twigs I found already had spots to write on.
So that’s pretty much it. Twigs. Sharpie. Organic seeds. And we are ready to plant!
This year, we planted several different kinds of lettuce, kale broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and beans. All organic of course! And on organic soil.
I think this was one of the easiest projects I’ve ever done. But how cute are these garden markers?!?
We’ve been using ladybugs to keep the aphids away this year, so I’m hoping to have an abundant lettuce harvest all summer long. So far so good… fingers crossed!
I like planting different kinds of lettuce and also planting several weeks apart to keep the harvest going.
I’m still smiling at how easy this was, how cute they turned out!
