I have a small arsenal of Essential Oils to use in my shower. I love the subtle fragrances and the therapeutic properties. Indulge yourself whether you are waking up, stressed, or in need of that extra boost.

How to Use These Essential Oils in the Shower

You can add 10-20 drops to the floor of your shower. I’m usually too lazy to count and just give the bottle 1-2 shakes. The hot water will help to diffuse the oils in the steam.

Safety first. If you have a negative reaction to any of the Essential Oils, discontinue use and see a medical professional.

Essential Oils for Your Shower

The Essential Oils that I’m recommending are some of the more common ones that many people already use in their homes. The recommendations are not to all be used at once, but to use 1-2 at a time.

Waking Up

Any citrus such as Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit, or Citrus Fresh.

At Bedtime

Lavender or German Chamomile.

When You are Sick

Eucalyptus + Peppermint, or Thieves

When You are Stressed

Clary Sage, Frankincense, Harmony, Stress Away, Peace and Calming, or Trauma Life

Hormonal Support

Clary Sage, Dragon Time, Geranium, Melrose, or Ylang Ylang

Cognition Support

Brain Power, Clarity, Peppermint, Rosemary

 After Yoga or a Massage

Awaken, Frankincense, Lemongrass, Palo Santo, Patchouli, Sandalwood
