Today’s tablescape gives a nod back to our colonial Americana roots of why we celebrate the 4th of July. My muse was this adorable colonial drum which I picked up at a yard sale years ago…. all ready to Yankee Doodle Dandy!
Here is a view of the entire tablescape. I started with an Americana style tablecloth – vintage 70’s from my Mother. I love this tablecloth!
I layered the place setting with a rattan charger from Target, a plain white plate, and then my favorite Kate-Spade-esque polka dot blue plates from One Kings Lane. I think the napkins are from…. hummmm…. I forget. But the napkin rings are a new DIY! The setting is completed with lime green utensils.
The glasses are Sam Adams beer glasses. Need I say more?
Doesn’t this drum make the perfect centerpiece for a colonial inspired table?
And a vintage-inspired lantern too!
Here is one last image for you if you wish to pin!
Love, hugs, and I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy!
